For the Mini Zojirushi bread machine which makes a 1 pound loaf. Use the serving adjustment to adapt to your bread machine.

Soften wheat berries

Bring 1/5 cup of wheat berries to a boil, then reduce to a simmer. Cook for about one hour or until they begin to crack. Strain, then chop or pulse in a food processor a little.

Measure wet ingredients

Set bread machine pan on a kitchen scale and weigh wet ingredients: water, milk, vegetable oil, honey

Measure dry ingredients

Add flour and salt, then yeast

Start the bread machine

Choose wheat bread cycle on the Mini Zojirushi

Add wheat berries

After bread starts to knead, pour in wheat berries.
